Welcome to my blog!  I'm Dr. Peggy Parker and I am passionate about helping you eat beautiful, healthful food that is sooooo delicious that no one would ever guess it is free of common allergens like wheat, cows' milk dairy products, refined sugars, gluten and so much more!

I've always been a "foodie" and before I became a Naturopathic and Biological Medicine doc I used to be a chef . . . plus I'm also allergic to wheat, cow's milk and refined sugars!

So I'm here to help you with information, recipes and tips that will make you and your friends say . . .

  2. Thanks Jamee, this is something I've wanted to do for a while. Now that I'm in the final stages of the book I decided it was time.

    There is so much great info in the world about food I decided that I wanted to put my own spin on it!

  3. Hi Dr. Parker...here is the cultured veggie drink I sent your way!

    Cultured Veggie Juice by Donna Gates with her packet of culture starter from www.BodyEcology.com web site:

    Fill blender with chopped red or green cabbage

    Add purified or spring water until blender is 2/3rds full

    Blend on hi speed for 2 minutes

    Add a package of l.plantarum starter culture

    Poor mixture into a glass jar with tight fitting lid

    Let sit at room temp for 3 days

    Strain and place in frig

    For a second batch, simply add 1/2 cup of first batch to the second and it will be ready in 24 hours

    Drink 1 and 1/2 cups of cultured veggie juice per day..divided throughout the day...suggest drinking a small glass with each meal as it greatly assists digestion. Several ounces upon waking and at bedtime when stomach is empty is also very wise!
