Drink a Smoothie, a Cup of Tea, or Take a Bath to Support Your Liver, Kidneys and More!

Back in January I posted the I Love My Liver Smoothie and it has been one of my most popular posts, so I thought I would share it again for some of my new followers and to remind those of you who have been following for some time that this is a great time of year to Love Your Liver!

When you take care of your liver, you will be blessed with clear thinking and clear skin because as you clean your liver it can clean your blood more completely.  This means more oxygen, more nutrients and more water can be delivered to your cells!  So today make the decision to take care of your liver and it will thank you in countless ways!

I Love My Liver Smoothie
This smoothie is a power packed liver supporting drink!  Each ingredient is a powerful agent to either cleanse or support your liver.
Yield – 2 servings

1/2 bunch kale leaves
1/4 bunch dandelion leaves
1 carrot
1 apple
1/2 small handful Italian flat leaf parsley leaves
1 frozen banana
1/2 avocado
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 scoop Garden of Life’s Raw Fiber
3 cups pH 9.5 ionized water

Blend all ingredients in a VitaMix or other powerful blender until smooth and creamy.  Serve immediately.

Drink a Cup of Detox Tea
As further support to your liver, drink 2-3 cups of Peach Detox Tea each day for 10 days.  This tea not only supports your liver, but also your kidneys, spleen and intestinal tract.  I drink 1-2 cups nearly every day of the year, but it is even more important during my semi-annual cleansing periods.

Take a Cleansing Bath
To add a bit of whole body cleansing support, add 1 cup Epsom Salts, 10 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil, 10 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil and 5 drops Grapefruit Essential Oil to a tub of hot water.  Soak a minimum of 20 minutes, towel dry and wrap in a warm robe.  Relax at least 10 minutes, or for best results retire for the evening!

Hope you are getting ready for the warm days of spring!
