Santa Fe to Sedona - Traveling Definitely Has Its Perks!
Apparently my car was a tiny bit unhappy about the change in altitude I've been putting it through over the past week. So I had to stop by the Toyota dealership to see why the "check engine" light came on. This gave me enough time this morning to stop by BODY Cafe for breakfast . . . I simply couldn't help myself!
The really fantastic thing is that I had so many things to choose from! As I mentioned yesterday, they serve Wheat, Gluten and Dairy Free selections + Vegan and Raw choices as well!
I chose an omelette with roasted tomatoes, wilted spinach and goat cheese. It was served with breakfast potatoes and spelt toast . . . plus I couldn't help but order a side of vegan pine nut creme cheese!
After breakfast I dropped off a few more books around town and Hogan, Bailey and I headed out of town for our drive to Sedona, Arizona!
As I passed through Flagstaff I simply had to stop at New Frontiers Natural Market because they are now carrying my cookbook . . . and I wanted to see it on the shelf for myself!
New Frontiers is a really lovely market that is committed to organic, sustainable, local and beautiful food. They have a full service deli, a huge body and home section and a wide variety of cheeses and so much more!
Be sure to stop by the next time you are in the area - you will not be disappointed!
Just 30 short minutes later we arrived in beautiful Sedona, checked in and are now settled in for the night!
